Akeel gained his BDS from The University of Jordan in 2002 and has Membership of Faculty of Dentistry,  The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland MFDRCSI in 2004 and Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Medicine as well as Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland  FFDRCSI ( OSOM) 2007

Jordanian Board Certificate in oral and Maxillofacial surgery 2014. He has worked in several units across the UK in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Currently works as a speciality Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at The Princess Alexandra Hospital . He is married with 3 children.
